Painful Ovulation

I have moderate to intense pain during ovulation and my last cycle it lasted for over a week due to me having a blood filled cyst on my ovary. I do not want to go on birth control to stop ovulation so I have been taking prescription strength motrin as well as tramadol. I read that taking witch hazel can help.

How much witch hazel do I take and when? If there are any other herbs to take please advise.

I do not have any other health concerns and do not take any other prescription meds on a regular basis.

Thanks!

Can you give some more description of your condition? Does the pain cause nausea? Do you have pain in the abodmen with migraines or diarrhea. Is the stomach tender? What makes you feel better and what aggravates the condition? What is your emotional mood?
