Exclamation Hyoscyamus and Delusions/Paranoia

My boyfriend is suffering from delusions and paranoia (formally diagnosed with schizophrenia). He'll feel better for a few days, then suddenly lapse into an episode. He's taken pharmaceuticals, and pretty much refuses to try them again. I've been looking with him for other solutions...and I've come up with Hyoscyamus. Does anyone have any experience with using it for these purposes? Was it successful? Were there unwanted side-effects?

Dear Little,

there are many remedies for the treatment of mental disease, it is a difficult process not only choosing the remedy but managing the case. There are thousands of medicines that might be indicated - how did you come up with this choice?

There are many pitfalls to prescribing for relatives or loved ones, and for prescribing on conditions when you have no experience with them. It would be better for your partner to have someone else treat him, in a controlled clinical situation.
