Recurring cold & chest congestion
I'm a newbie on this forum and hoping to find answers for a challenged situation that I'm in.
I have a 3-yr old son who catches infections from day-care almost every week or every other week. It starts with a runny nose with white stringy discharge, followed by thicker yellow/off-white discharge in couple days. This then gets into the chest and he constantly struggles by not being able to remove it from the chest.
This results in a fast heart beat due to a very congested chest for few days, then followed by a constant roar-type sound from his chest when he breathes in & out for the last few days before he finally recovers. He throws up phlegm if he exerts himself with heavy activity like jumping & running.
Avoiding germs is impossible... so I wish to boost his immunity so he can fight better from the inside and also looking for any treatment suggestions when he gets into one of these sessions. Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated.
