Smile Hyocaimus question

Hi Alex

Look up John Weir Perry's books "Trials of the Visionary Mind" and "The Far Side of Madness", available on Amazon where you can read a few pages. Google John Weir Perry and "Diabasis". Too involved to go into here but drug free therapy.
My son went onto Risperidone 3 years ago - I didn't know anything about Psychosis then.
After a year he happened to mention that a girl had "opened him up to Spirit" whilst at a party - up till then I was told it was the Cannabis he'd smoked at college. So, I got the name for a Spiritual Rescue worker in Hampshire and arranged an appointment, (we're in Essex so we made a short break of it). Very weird day but my son's voices went, then he went into a shop and bought himself a high caffeine drink and they came straight back. It was the start of him getting better though and he has since been helped practically by 2 other spiritual rescue workers - all of them only asked for donations if you wanted to, (I did), and one who has been through the same thing and went from being an atheist to being a Medium. AVOID caffeine like the plague! Since becoming ill our son would smoke till he threw up, drink high caffeine drinks till he threw up and alcohol till he threw up. We took his money away, (with his consent 6 months or so ago), and now we get to sleep at night without him constantly going out to have a cigarette and banging the doors by accident. He does try to get us to give him more and more cigarettes but 20 is the maximum per day and it has been as low as 16 on a good day, this will make it easier for him to quit eventually. Too many cigarettes seems to bring more voices overall, but whilst smoking them he experiences a brief respite where he can think. Don't start if you don't already though as toxins, (including antipsychotics), make you weaker to spiritual attack. Lots of praying for help and asking for protection goes on - I bought my children up as atheists but have changed my mind somewhat, still not sure who to pray to so I tend to go with "Divine Spirits" but have heard that Jehova and Jesus work great too - if you believe in something use it, if you don't give it a go with a general prayer to the good in the universe, it seems to help. When I got more sleep I was able to do more research. I have given our son reflexology to help him sleep, till he got fed up with that. Bought an acupuncture pen which bleeps when you are over the spot and all 5 lights come on when you are at the point. It is electrical and you can get them on Amazon. He had that for a while but the best point I felt was on the tip of the ear and as it was extremely painful he would never let me do it. If you grasp and rub the lower point of your ear, (I think it's called the Omega point), it has a beneficial effect on the whole body. There is a post somewhere on-line of schizophrenia accupuncture points. Next we found an excellent, retired homeopath who agreed to treat my son and helped a great deal. She started by taking out the damage done by innoculations, worked through head trauma damage, (he had 2 left feet as a child, cured by risers from the podiatrist), and so on. Then she became ill about the same time as I had started him on Vitamin Therapy - there are many posts on orthomolecular therapy including an Australian one that tells you how to come off the meds. The homeopath is improving but needed to get herself well before she could help further.

Soon after, I found by chance a Bioresonance therapist, (Bio health screen), on Canvey called Albert who is currently helping our son. After the first treatment, he said he didn't think it worked and wouldn't go back but I have hidden a transmitter in his pillow and he doesn't know he's getting treatment. When I spoke to the nurse who administer his jab about the improvement we had seen, he started mentioning Placebo effect, so I explained that as he doesn't know and didn't believe in it the improvement must therefore be down to the therapy. Treating Psychosis with this therapy is very new and you have to go easy as it will help your body be able to cure itself BUT it will take you back through events that you found painful in the past. You will need support of someone who knows your past perhaps or who can talk you through it and calm you. Currently we are on day 6 of reduced Risperidone dosage and doing okay - the psychiatrist is very unhappy about it but I am sure our son will get well and off it eventually, even if it takes another year. I am looking at hyocaimus currently. I am also trying to get our son to try Bluebell Bush Flower essence plus some Bach Flower Remedies. The homeopath gave him Ian Whites Angelic essence and the Bush Remedy Fringed Violet, (baldwins co uk sell them), which helped - worth trying. I might get some more now I've remembered that. I am not sure if you can add addresses to this site but can always send them if allowed.
I hope this helps, we also talk a lot about things that could have upset him in the past, (being bullied at school etc,) although he doesn't seem overly bothered it could be locked in trauma so I just try every angle and spend too much time on the web hunting for help. I am pretty disgusted with the drug companies and medical establishment for getting people hooked on meds with no cure, just semi-wellness at best.
You are doing well researching your own health, our son couldn't do that currently, partly because he's got no motivation but he's also dyslexic and a slow reader and sometimes the voices make it hard to concentrate. He gets times when he has no voices, but I think he then likes to enjoy his books, games or just meditating - psychosis drugs can shorten your life by 10 years although I imagine that's if you are on them for life. If you meditate regularly for 5 years or more it can increase your lifespan by 5 years at least - so well worth it!
Keep trying you will get there. At least you are willing to try things, our son is a bit difficult to help sometimes but has been more co-operative taking vitamins and amino acids lately as he has improved. That's partly why I have tried so many different things! Bye for now.

Mental health professionals usually define hearing voices as a symptom of medical illness. Many people who hear voices are able to live with them and may consider them a positive part of their lives.
