Red face Hot tounge syndrome

I have a "hot" tounge. the tounge feels hot all the time and is very irrating.
I found a homeopathic treatment in the 1990's at Deep Roots health store in Greensboro, nc, but they dont remember it.

it came in a small vial with about 30 tablest s. you took the tablets until the symptom disappeared. It worked. now no one seems to know what it is.

I have been searching the web and now overloaded with data.
One site calls it "glossodynia or stomatodnyia"
would appreciate any help on this item as it persists all day/night.
sucking cool air, eating ice helps but only temp.

thanks Vern
