Stomach flu

My son- 3 years old, has a bad case of the stomach virus. He first woke up yesterday morning with a dirty diaper- perhaps had an uncontrollable bowel movement at some point in the night, and then spent the rest of the day throwing up- everything. He was hungry for breakfast- had oats, egg and toast (his usual), and 30 min later threw it all up. Then was thirsty, had water, and 15 min later threw up. He spent the rest of the day, drinking just water, and throwing it up. Complained a lot of stomach pain. Was writhing in pain, wanted hard massage done on it, lots of pressure. Has been sleeping on his tummy because of the pain.
These are the meds my homeopath suggested- step 1: Nux V 30. Gave 2 doses but did not work. Then switched it to Ars Alb & Ipec 200, vomiting seems to have ceased on day 2.
But, now Day 2- still have stomach pain, has been able to hold in some water, toast, and soup. Has a low grade fever of 101. Clingy, tired, lethargic, red cheeks, flushed, red eyes.
Has had about 2 loose motions- but both motions have been cloudy and a lot of flatulence.
He's on calc carb 200 (one dose, once a week, for 3 months). The calc carb is for a slight case of acne he's had since he was 8 months old, grinding of teeth, and low immunity.
I would call my homeopath again but she's in India and I'm in N.A. and I have to wait till night to hear her suggestion.
Any suggestions out there? Would really appreciate it. Thanks, Karina

How much water is your son drinking daily? To get rid of flu, drinking liquid is very important. This also prevents dehydration from diarrhea.

Stomach flu treatment is justly straight forward and should be succeed rapidly in an effort to avoid dehydration. if you have been vomiting for more than a day or have had diarrhea for over 3 days, the check with your health care provider. You may need further tests to rule out dehydration or a more serious illness.
