How long does it take to find constitutional remedy?

We have seen a homeopath for 2 years but he has not found our constitutional remedy yet. This is our second homeopath and first one also didn't find our remedy so none of us have had much success by homeopathy treatment. Our first homeopath suggested we go to allopathy doctor and she said " This is really serious" as a bladder infection was getting worse with her homeopathy treatment. My arthritis problem didn't address either. My son's autistic behavior had never better with it, too. We also waited for 2 years with her homeopathy treatment and moved on.

The second homeopath tends to look at rare remedies. He used Caulophyllum for my arthritis pain for about one year. Ended up, it aggravated me so bad. He changed remedy after that but each time my symptoms were worsening and I got new symptoms that are staying with me for long time now. After few more remedy changing, I was so damaged and not functioning for life.

My son also had rare remedy but it didn't last for long time. My husband was also receiving rare remedy but almost once a month he is changing the remedy as not finding a right remedy.

I just wonder why we are all getting rare remedies? I heard most people get polycrest remedies and not necessary to use rare remedy most of the time. I think our homeopath believes that rare remedy works better than polycrest remedy and kind of guessing if it was successful he could publish it and he can be more significant(He asked me that he wants to publish that Caulophyllum case).

If your homeopath can't find your constitutional remedy for over 2 years do you still stay the same homeopath or move on to new homeopath?

Actually I saw a new homeopath and it was a Skype consult. She doesn't accept e-mail or phone call unless I pay for it(I have to make an appointment to contact with her). She said my remedy is 90% correct so I trusted her but I got really bad aggravation. I wanted to ask her but I thought about if she was 90% sure and I have to pay for it, I need to pay huge amount for future consultation with her. She went overseas for her lecture of homeopathy for about a month so meanwhile whether regardless of paying or not paying I couldn't contact with her so there was not much of choice, I had to drop her.

I don't know if I should go back to second homeopath or just forget about him? I don't know how other people are doing with homeopathy treatment. Some people find my writing as normal and some people find not normal. I just want to know other people's opinion on this. It is quite frustrating for me.

Currently I am finding remedy by myself and my suffering is a lot less than it was with what those homeopaths prescribed for me because I can change without having to wait.

Homeopathy is only as good as the the treatment the homeopaths are offering. I would drop the homeopaths that you are using. They are not getting the job done. They should be able to find your constitutional type after meeting with you. Can you answer the following questions for me? How long was your initial consult with each homeopath? Are your homeopaths MDs as well?
