Liver Cleanse after Gallbladder removal

I had my gallbladder removed in 1995. Since then I have experienced many unpleasant side effects. I found a site with information that said I need to do a liver cleanse to ease the burden on my liver. What would be a good liver cleanse to do? Also, the weight gain has really been a problem. Granted I only weigh 165 pounds. I should weigh 130 or less. I have tried for years to lose the weight, but it just will not budge. Part of the information I found said that I should be doing several things like taking enzymes ( I do), and acidophilus. Will doing all these things get my body back on track, and therefore help me combat the weight issue? Any information would be helpful. I have lived so many years thinking nothing could be done to change my life, that this is all exciting and a little scary!
