spleen?
i tried to post this last night but it didn't get posted for some reason well here it is..Ok, so since before last christmas I have been having this dull pain in the spleen area. it started gradually a dull pain and every once and a while a sharp pain i eventually started to have this weird feeling in my left shoulder behind my shoulder blade and in my left arm i wet to a neurologist they thought it was aa infection in a nerve plexus and gave me antibiotics nothing changed then one winters day in the middle of the night i awoke around 1 or 2 and started hyperventilating went to the emergency and they couldnt find anything wrong with me i told them of the dull pain from the spleen area they did some blood tests xray they found nothing so they thought it was a panic attack. i then went to the neurologists again told them what happened they did some type of test with needles and electricity and some type of scan i think it was a MRI. and still came up with the that it was a infection or virus in a nerve plexus and it would go away in 2 months or so... the weird feeling in my shoulder and arm went away a good 6 months later but the dull pain in the spleen area didn't and hasn't gone or lessened...from around christmas i have had trouble eating tomato sauce still havent been able to find out excactly what happened or what it is that is causing this dull pain, bread and starchy substances seem to be one of the only things that help but only fleetingly. i was born with a bladder reflux problem and was running a kidney infection from birth till i was eleven and had surgery to fix the problem i am now 21

spleen?
Hay
Me information is that the spleen is a part of our lymphatic system, and as such, helps to regulate the fluids in the body while also performing a filtering function. The spleen removes red and while blood cells which are no longer functioning properly, breaks them down, and discards them. In the process, the spleen removes the iron from these cells and returns it to the blood stream.
