Can you take more than one remedy at a time?

I'm just starting out with homeopathic remedies and know nothing about them. I'm wondering if you can take more than one remedy at a time. I've had a problem with being really hot in my upper and lower abdomen and my lower back. I've been withdrawing from Prozac after 16 years of use and have been completely off of it since Sept 29, 2004. I am told that the Prozac has caused this problem and that it will take up to a year to recover from it.

I was advised to take Arsenicum Album but when I went to get it, the HFS person told me that I didn't have any of the symtoms associated with that remedy and to take Lachesis Mutus and Belledonna but she didn't know if I could take them at the same time. I have taken the first dose of Belledonna and two hours later took the dose of Lachesis Mutus. I am wondering if I can take them both at once. I'm also on narcotics for pain and wondering if the homeopathic remedies interact with that. Right now I'm ready to try anything for relief.

Thanks for any help,
Liz KS

Dear Liz KS

Normally, we prescribe a single medicine at a time but if condition is very severe we prescribe two medicines also at a time. In your case I feel you should use Nux Vomica - 200, 4 pills at a time in the evening for 15 days. Then report to us for next prescription. Right now stop using Belladona and Lachesis.

With best wishes,
