Pets with allergies

Has anyone tried the 'Allergy' treatment (drops that go in water) for pets please? As I live in the UK it would work out a little expensive to buy it from the USA but we would be more than happy to purchase it if we could find out if other people have had success using it.

Every spring time our cat gets scabs on his back and they get worse when he is out of doors. We feel sure it is an allergy to a plant in our garden but we don't know which one. The poor little thing digs himself such a lot as it itches. We have tried Graphites, Sulphur and others recommended for eczema type problems. The vet says it is a flea allergy, and certainly it is very similar to the effects of a flea allergy but we believe it is a plant of some sort as he didn't used to have the problem when we lived in a different area and was out a lot.

When he goes to a conventional vet he is given a steroid injection, but we have heard that these can shorten a cat's life and obviously we want him with us for as long as possible.

I'd be greatful if anyone would be kind enough to tell me if they have tried it and how successful it was please. Thank you.
